Campus Cash Application for Local Businesses

Campus Dining & Shops (CDS) is the exclusive food service provider to the University at Buffalo. CDS operates the Campus Cash program by which we partner with other vendors both on campus and off that provide goods and services that complement CDS’s offerings.  There are some purchases that are not allowed under the Campus Cash Agreement. Students may not use their Campus Cash to purchase alcohol, lottery tickets, money orders, gift cards, traveler’s checks, or use it for any other form of tender or deposit.

The addition of merchants to the program is done through the following process:

  • CDS will consider additions to the program on an annual basis for the beginning of each academic year.
  • Vendors requesting to be added to the Campus Cash program will be added to the list to be reviewed providing they meet the criteria of Campus Cash vendors.
  • CDS will conduct a survey each academic year to determine what vendors students are requesting be considered for the Campus Cash program.
  • The number of merchants to be added to the program at any given time will be dependent on technical resources available.

 

The Board of directors will review the list of vendors with the Executive director to determine which, if any vendors will be offered the opportunity to accept Campus Cash.

 

There are no exclusive contracts to provide goods or services with any Campus Cash vendors.
