Dining Centers

UB has an outstanding residential dining program, featuring three residential dining centers: Richmond, Governors and Main St. Market at Goodyear. Each location has its own experienced chef that creates innovative entrees using the freshest ingredients. The unique menus feature a variety of delicious and healthy meals; including traditional favorites, ethnic specialties and vegetarian and vegan selections. Students can enjoy meals with the friends or take a to-go meal at all locations. To spice things up, we create special menus for fun dining events and theme dinners all year long.
Our Residence Hall Dining Centers prepare all-you-can-eat breakfasts and dinners Monday through Friday. On weekends, brunch and dinner is served. Each center serves at least three home-style entrees every night. Listed below are the features of each hall and the operating hours. Campus Dining & Shops also provides various options and alternatives for students with meals plans -- meal equivalencies and carry out meals

Reusable To-Go Containers
In a rush or just want to dine outside the dining center? Meals from the Residential Dining Centers are available to-go using our Reusable Eco-Clamshell Containers. Below are some common questions about the containers and how the program works.
- Why are we using these containers?
-
By using reusable containers, participants will join others in the effort to reduce waste on our campus.
Last year, we saved over 150,000 containers from ending up in the landfill. - Does it cost money to sign up?
-
Participation is FREE to all meal plan and declining balance customers. All participating customers must
have a valid UB Card to check containers in and out. All containers must be returned by the end of the
spring semester ($5 fee for each container not returned). - Do I have to sign up?
-
For meal plan and declining balance customers, all you have to do is ask your cashier for a reusable to-
go container and the computer will recognize you the first time you check a container out. - Where can the containers be used?
- Richmond Dining Center, Goodyear Dining Center, Governors Dining Center
- How many containers can each person check out?
- Participants can have one (1) container checked out under their name at any given time.
- How long can a container be checked out?
-
There are no time limits or late fees, but please try and return the container as soon as possible so we
can keep them in stock. - Do containers have to be returned to the place they were checked out?
- No. You can return your container to any of the locations listed above.
- Do I have to wash my container?
-
We handle the washing of all containers in our dishwashing facilities to ensure their proper sanitation.
We do ask that you please bring the container back rinsed if possible. - Are these the same size as the disposable containers?
- Yes, they are the exact same size.
- Can I share my container with my friend/roommate?
- No. In order to properly keep track of all containers, only you will be able to check them in and out.
