Traditional meals served in the Dining Centers are the best value. However, if you are in the academic areas and you can't get back to a dining hall, you may have breakfast, brunch or dinner in selected cash dining areas. Your dining plan provides a meal equivalency of $5 for breakfast at Harriman Cafe, Bert's, Putnam's or any other dining location located along "The Spine" until 11:30 a.m. $7.75 toward the purchase of dinner at Putnam's during the week or $5.75 for weekend brunch at the Ellicott Food Court. Just tell the cashier you are using a meal equivalency. Any amount over the credit will be deducted from your Dining Dollars. Meal equivalencies are only available during the Residence Dining Center meal hours.

Just tell the checker you would like your meal "to go". Give your UB Card to the cashier and you’ll receive the appropriate take-out containers. Once you’ve made your selection, pick up your card from the cashier and enjoy breakfast or dinner whenever and wherever you choose. For more information, ask the cashier or speak with the manager. Please dispose of all carry-out containers properly. Offered in the Residence Hall Dining Centers during breakfast, brunch and dinner hours.

Last semester, we offered you a "green" way to transport your To-Go meals. Approximately 130 students took advantage of our Carry Out Club kit, which included a heavy-duty plastic reusable tray and lid, one set of real silverware and a CDS Refillable Mug for $7.50. We also included coupons and free offers.
