| Card Management System (CMS) | Card Management System, known as CMS, allows you manage your Dining Dollars and Campus Cash accounts online. In order to use CMS you must have a Campus Dining & Shops Dining Dollars or Campus Cash account for at least one business day and it must be in good standing. With CMS you can add funds to your Dining Dollars or Campus Cash account, view your balance and view or print your recent transactions. Once logged in, you can deposit funds into your account using a credit card. The funds will be available immediately. Students may also add funds by charging the amount to their Student Account. If you select to add using the Student Account option you will see a UBit username and password login prompt. Additions charged to your Student Account are not added in real time and will be reviewed and processed on the next business day (business days do not include Saturday, Sunday or Holidays). |
| Dining Dollars | Dining Dollars is a tax-free debit account used instead of cash in cafeterias, snack bars and vending machines. All resident meal plans include a Dining Dollars balance. Student Dining Dollars accounts are tax-free, so you save 8.75% (New York State and local taxes) when you spend Dining Dollars instead of cash in our cafeterias and snack bars. When you use your UB card for food purchases outside your meal plan, the card readers are pre-programmed to look for Dining Dollars first and then roll over to Campus Cash only after Dining Dollars are exhausted. What you spend is immediately deducted from your balance, and your remaining balance is displayed at the register after your purchase, so you always know how much you have left. |
| Greetings from Home | We offer a convenient way for you to stay in touch with your UB student. Greetings from Home is a unique gift-giving service that lets you celebrate special events with your favorite UB student with a personalized gift basket. Don't let a birthday or holiday pass without sending a package to your special student. |
