Do I have to eat my meals in the Residence Hall Dining Centers?

Traditional meals served in the Residence Hall Dining Centers are the best value. However, if you are in the academic areas and you just want a change of pace, you may have breakfast or dinner in selected cash dining areas. You will be given a meal equivalency of $7.75 toward the purchase of dinner at Putnam's; or $5 toward the purchase of breakfast at Bert's or Putnam's or any other CDS location on the spine or in Harriman Hall on the South Campus. On the weekends, you can use a brunch exchange of $5.75 at Ellicott Food Court. Just tell the cashier you are using a meal equivalency. Any amount over the credit will be deducted from your Dining Dollars. Meal equivalencies are only available during the Resident Dining Hall meal periods.
